Your AFA Meetings Start Saturday, June 2nd

Join us for meetings to learn more about our union run by and for Flight Attendants. Committed to your career, AFA has trained Flight Attendants working as experts on the issues that matter most to us along with professional staff dedicated solely to advancing the careers of Flight Attendants. From reserve to retirement and scheduling to onboard safety or contract negotiations, AFA puts 100% focus on your profession.

At these special sessions you will be able to talk directly with our AFA International Officers, who are also Flight Attendants, and AFA professional staff including Safety and Health, Government Affairs, AFA EAP mental health professionals, AFA attorneys and professional negotiators. The experts will be available to answer your questions and present the real difference we make as a union of Flight Attendants. Checkyourafa.org for the latest meeting information. Parking will be provided at all meetings.

Uniting All Flight Attendants

On the very first page of AFA’s Constitution and Bylaws, our primary objective states:

“To unite all cabin crew members in the airline industry regardless of age, color, disability, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression who are eligible for membership.”

Years ago, Colgan Flight Attendants approached AFA for representation, and while we were supporting their efforts to collect cards to petition for an election, management swooped in and voluntarily recognized another union as their representative.  Colgan never got to vote on their representation – but now they will finally have the chance to vote for AFA, their original choice for representation.  Pinnacle Flight Attendants never approached AFA previously for representation, and now they too get a choice.  We work to unite all cabin crewmembers – no matter the size of the airline – not only because no one understands our issues better than other Flight Attendants, but also because it makes us stronger and helps us achieve better results across the industry.  Together we are better.
